An Honest Discussion on Porn

So lately I've been posting videos when I update the ole blog. I'm sorry about that but I promise I'm working at getting original thoughts coming back onto the blog but I'm trying to work around some new things in life which are keeping me a bit more busy than previously expected. That said, just last month I put up a video where the topic was sex, as with that video this post isn't so much for younger people but one that I think parents, especially dads, need to watch so they can confront this issue. In this video you will listen to a man, Michael Leahy, share his story about his struggle with porn. There isn't anything terribly graphic in the video but still wouldn't rush to share it with a little kid. Anyway I hope you enjoy the video and this man's story.

 

An Honest Discussion on Sex

I think it goes without saying that this blog post isn't meant for children. Now, I won't really be writing anything this time other than a short introduction because the video I am embeding will do a good enough job of it. This video comes from where I attended church at while I was still in college this is the pastor Tommy and some of the other staff members having a panel style discussion on sex. I wouldn't say its particularly graphic but it still isn't something I would tell a parent to blindly show their child. That said I hope you enjoy the video and can take something from it.

My Life Plan

So this post is only somewhat serious. I mean, I would love to do this but I think it is a bit unrealistic. That said this is my life plan. Now before I actually tell it to you I think I want to give a little background to it. Last night I was talking to my best friend James and I saw in my news feed that some guy recently was biking across a game reserve in South Africa when an antelope hit him. This got me to thinking about a whole slew of random things how I would like to die if I could choose it, where I think I want to live, stuff I think would be awesome to do, and so many other things I couldn't list them all reasonably. Well that caused me to come up with this life plan.

My life plan is as follows: 1) Move to New Mexico
2) Buy a plot of land in the desert
3) Build a 40 by 40 hut
4) Dig a well for water
5) Build an out house
6) Put a wood stove in the hut for heat
7) Spend my days out in the desert biking while I search for I don't know what

My plan is to live like this for about 20 years all the while growing an untamed beard. After about 20 years I will return to civilization a well tanned, well toned, and very bearded prophet of God. I sorta figure that what I will be searching for is a message from God. I wish I knew what the message would pertain to but I just don't. So like I said before this is a little unreasonable but I think at the same time it is so very achievable.

Now I hope you all have a fun time reading my umm "life plan." I have actually enjoyed writing this a lot and sure its a short little post but that is my crazy dream for my life. What are your crazy dreams?
